            In continuation to this office letter of even number dated    12.11.2013 , I am directed to intimate that the dispatch  and  delivery of the network equipment  by M/S Sify has already been started  . The dispatch particulars of the consignment office wise is attached for kind information and to intimate the date of delivery  as per the enclosed  per forma

It is  requested  to intimate the delivery status to this office on daily basis . Further necessary instruction may be issued to  all concerned  not to open the packet tillM/s Sify engineer visit the post offices for installation of the  hardware. It is ascertained that the hardware will be delivered in the name of the current  SPM or Ex-SPM of the office .

Sub- Network Hardware dispatch to Phase II locations by Sify

Sir,

            This is regarding dispatch of hardware by M/S Sify the Network Integrator to the field locations of Odisha Circle under India Post IT Modernisation project (Phase II) from 11th November 2013 onwards. M/s Sify has planned to send the hardware through EPP center, Hyderabad.

                I am directed to request you to have a through watch over the hardware delivery to all offices and update us the delivery status through email (pmucellodisha@gmail.com) so that the consolidated delivery information could be sent to the Directorate in time. The Performa of delivery status is enclosed herewith.

             Moreover, it is requested to take the following initial steps at the time of receiving the consignment at your end.

1.    All hardware packets should be accepted.

2.    Not to open the packet and wait till M/s Sify engineer visit the post offices for installation of hardware.

3.    Keep in a safe place.

4.    To intimate the consign number and date of delivery.

5.    RMS-all sections may be advised to handle the packet carefully to avoid any damage to hardware.
