Divisional Union wrote to Circle Union to appraise the Circle Administration for expediting declaration of DPC result promoting eligible P As to L S G cadre in Odisha Circle

Sub:-   Delay in promotion of eligible Postal Assistants to LS G Cadre  in Odisha Circle

Dear Comrade,

            As it is aware that the future vacancy that would occur on promotion of eligible Postal Assistants to  LSG cadre on seniority – cum – fitness basis ( 100 % ) has already been taken into account in calculating the vacancy position in P A cadre for which examination has already been over on 14.11.2010 and result of successful candidates published on 19.11.2010.

           

            But contradictorily, the eligible P As of Odisha Circle have not yet been promoted to LSG cadre. As known to this union, the required D P C has since been constituted and all the formalities starting from checking CRs to preparation of minutes of the DPC have been completed awaiting the approval of the competent authority.

            It is needless to state that more than one hundred LSG posts in Odisha Circle are presently vacant including  10 posts of Bhubaneswar Division. But these posts are not physically vacant at present. Unless the DPC result is declared and the eligible officials are physically promoted, there may be a technical difficulty in calculating the future vacancy in P A cadre for 2011.

            Thus, the Circle administration may be appraised to expedite declaration of DPC result promoting the eligible P As to LSG cadre at the earliest.
