It has been noted that many of the Post Offices haven’t still implemented this even after Director has passed this order to all the circles on 24^th Jun. kindly pass a circular that they should get this done by Tuesday positively

To the System Administrators

             Airway Bills/Article series provided to all authorized WNX booking/approved post offices would get expire on 27.06.2013. Post offices will not be able to use POS to book WNX shipments without changing the expiry date or up loading of new airway bill series.

These airway bill series date can be updated till 31.12.2014 by changing the expiry date in the SQL Database for which attached SQL SCRIPT TOOL needs to updated in the server.

This exercise will help us to replenish the existing airway bill series for the next 18 months.

Below is process for update.

1.         Copy the script tool in Post office server pc in SQL counter database of WNX AWB bill series tables

2.         Then execute the file thru SQL query tool analyzer

3.         Once update is done, the date will change 2014/12/31 & to check this you need to go in SQL database>Counter>WNX Airwaybill table>

Below the script (also in the file attached herewith, in case the file is not there in the email copy the same in the notepad and run)
