	Sub:		Staging of Short play during the 27th All India Postal Cultural Meet to be held at Nagpur, Maharashtra Circle w.e.f 11.02.2013 to 15.02.2013.

 Script for short  play competition are invited alongwith name of the artists and director from the willing officials to participate in the 27^th All India Postal Cultural Meet for the year 2012-13 which is being organisied by Maharashtra Circle at Nagpur from  11.02.2013 to 15.02.2013 subject to if the script is selected by the Directorate.

The short play script from the units are invited as per following guidelines

1. The script should be original work of an employee/ his/ her spouse or dependent children. Scripts should not have been staged during any previous meet or have been rejected in the past.

2. Theme of the script should be on social values and written in a decent and presentable language. Three copies of the neatly typed script in double space should be sent alongwith its synopsis.

3. If the script is in a Regional language, complete English translation may also please be sent.

4. A maximum number of 8 artists are allowed for the short play and no artist will be allowed to play more than one role.

5. There should be minimum number of breaks during the one Act play. Multiple breaks need to be avoided.

6. All the artists shall have to be from amongst the staff and their families only.

7. In addition to the artists, the Director of the short play shall  also have to be a member of the staff or family members as specified above. In case the Director is also a participant, then the contingent of the team is required to be restricted to 8 only.

8. Duration of the short play will be minimum of 20 Minutes and a maximum    45 Minutes with 30 for setting, lighting and dismantling etc.

All the units are requested to forward the Scripts alongwith the synopsis to the undersigned by 1^st December, 2012 positively. Script after the stipulated date will not be considered.
