Sir,
I am directed to intimate that the target of opening of new
accounts, BPL accounts, Accounts for Sanchaya Village has already been fixed
for each Division. The number of accounts closed in a month is more than the
number of new accounts opened in the particular month which causes decrease in
Net live account of the particular HO. Directorate has fixed the target of Net
live accounts of 9761772 as on 31.03.2013. The performance of each HO is
reviewed and basing on the number of live accounts available as on 31.07.2012 ,
the target of live accounts each HO for the Year 2012-13 is fixed. It
includes the number of live accounts of SOs/ BOs under the account
jurisdiction of the HO. The target of net live accounts is attached.
