                The following Lower Grade Official of Bhubaneswar Division who came out successful in the Departmental Examination of LGOs  for promotion to the cadre of Postal Assistants held on 10.10.2010 and allotted to Bhubaneswar Division vide Chief Postmaster General, Orissa Circle, Bhubaneswar Memo No.RE/30-23/09(Con) dated 22.02.2011 and who after successful completion of Induction Training at PTC, Darbhanga from 11.07.2011 to 03.09.2011 and post induction training at Bhubaneswar GPO from 05.09.2011 to 10.09.2011 is hereby appointed provisionally to the cadre of Postal Assistant in Bhubaneswar Division in the scale of pay of Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs.2400/- in Pay Band-1 with effect from the date of joining and posted to the office as mentioned below against his name.

                    The conditions of the appointment are as follows :

1.        The appointment is purely temporary and on adhoc basis and does not confer on him any right for permanent absorption.

2.         The appointee shall be on probation for two years and permanent absorption may be made in accordance with the rules of the Department.

3.         The appointee carries with him the liabilities of serving in any part of Bhubaneswar Postal Division or in the special circumstances in any part of India. He shall be liable to field service in India at the time of National Emergency and war.

4.         The appointment may be terminated at any time by giving a month’s notice without assigning any reason. The appointing authority however, reserves the right for terminating the services of the appointee forthwith or before expiry of the stipulated period of notice by making payment to him a sum equivalent to the pay and allowances for the period of notice or the unexpired portion thereof.

5.         Other conditions of service shall be applicable in case of the appointee and he shall be governed by the relevant rules and orders of the Department in force from time to time.
